Early diagnostics of ASD and inclusion of children with ADS in the pre-school education system

This bachelor's thesis deals with an early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders in children and their placement into the preschool education system. The purpose of this work is to determine how the schools' advisory councils in the Czech South Bohemian region deal with issues related to ASD. Partial goal is to find out what experience the advisory councils have on placing children with ASD into the preschool education system. The research is divided into a theoretical and practical portion. The theoretical portion has four main chapters. Chapters consist of defining the ASD term, classification of certain disorders, early diagnosis of ASD, and preschool education of children with ASD. The beginning of the practical portion of this thesis describes the issues associated with the selected subject, the target of the work and research questions. Qualitative research has been chosen for the practical portion. The method of conducting semi-structured interviews has been selected for data collection. A component of the practical portion is preliminary research, which is focused on the collaboration within individual advisory councils in the Czech South Bohemian region. The end of the practical portion states the research results, answers to respective research questions and the research goal. The bachelor's thesis identifies the course of examination of children with ASD and its associated length of waiting period for specific examinations as well as final diagnosis. It deals with the cooperation of school advisory councils and individual specialists. Upon the obtained information from the research, cooperation is beneficial to selecting an easier and better education intervention for children with ASD. Further on, the bachelor's thesis examines the course of the process of placing children with ASD into the preschool system, during which the pedagogical cabinet partakes significantly. Lastly, the thesis discusses current issues which complicate the diagnosis process. The results of the research are beneficial to those dealing with early childhood diagnostics of ASD. It can also aid parents, students and newcomer professionals in understanding how the systems of given institutions work.
Possibilities of Using Canine Therapy in School Counseling Facilities

This bachelor thesis deals with topics of Possibilities of using canine therapy in school counseling facilities. The work describes the course of canine therapy, methods and forms, goals. This bachelor thesis includes the benefits and risks of canine therapy from the perspective of workers. This bachelor's thesis includes a SWOT analysis that maps strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the provision of canine therapy. Main focus of this bachelor thesis is on helping to provide services (type, form, goals, benefits, number of clients, aids, documentation management) within the activities of school counselors. A partial goal is the possible benefits, pros, cons and risks associated with the practice of canine therapy in school counseling services.
Inclusion of a Child with Mental Impairment and Developmental Dysphasia in an Ordinary Nursery

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is inclusion of a child with mental impairment and developmental dysphasia in an ordinary nursery. The thesis is a case study of a particular child. The aim is to describe the issue of integration of a child with mental disabilities and developmental dysphasia in a regular type of a kindergarten. The thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical one and a practical one. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the terms associated with the issue of mental retardation and impaired communication skills, defines the concept of developmental dysphasia, diagnosis of these children, cooperation with school counselling facilities, care system of these children and legislation connected with inclusion. The methods and results of a qualitative research are described in the practical part. A case study was chosen to be the most appropriate type of the research, which is conducted by the method of a semi-structured interview, observations and documents analysis.

Thesis entitled Diagnosis of children with different mother tongue in preschool age deals with the issue of diagnosis of children with different mother tongue in preschool age, specifically deals with approaches, methods and possibilities of diagnosing children with different mother tongue in preschool age. Thesis focuses on the diagnosis of the development of a child of preschool age, outlines the diagnosis of a child in kindergarten, and especially describes and charts the methods and procedures for diagnosing these children in pedagogical-psychological counseling. Role of street-level bureaucracy in the process of implementation of inclusive education with a focus on school counseling staff

This diploma thesis concerns the topic of inclusive education in the Czech Republic with a focus on school counseling staff as the main representatives of street-level bureaucracy in the process of inclusive education. The general aim of this study is to examine the situation after the implementation of the Amendment No. 82/2015 Coll. of the Education Act from the point of view of school counseling staff. Moreover, the study also examines whether the current position of street-level bureaucracy in the inclusive education process is well-set and whether the current system settings meet the needs of the recipients of service. The objectives are fulfilled via qualitative research, particularly eight semi- structured interviews with school counseling staff and two semi-structured interviews with NGO representatives, and analysis of relevant public policy documents. Based on the qualitative research among these respondents, it concludes that the work concluded that there is scope for improvement in many ways in the current form of inclusive education in the Czech Republic, especially in staffing, financial support and mutual communication and cooperation among the actors involved.

The bachelor thesis is focused on the counselling system in the Czech Republic and its use by secondary school pupils. It will be divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part will describe the brief history of the counselling system in the Czech Republic and the legislation related to the individual components of the counselling system specifically school counselling centers and school counsel-ling facilities. The following chapters will then provide an in depth illustration of school counselling centers and school counselling facilities and services provided to pupils. The methods of processing the theoretical part will be the study of print-ed and electronic sources, analysis, comparison of findings and synthesis. In the practical part of the work, a survey will be carried out, the aim of which is to find out the pupils' awareness of the offer of counselling services, the degree and rea-sons for their use and the satisfaction of the pupils with the provided services. The survey will take place at the Secondary School of Hotel and Services in Kroměříž. The respondents will be apprentice students. The approach of kindergarten pedagogues to children with school postponement

In the diploma thesis I concentrated on an approach of preschool teachers to children whose school attendance was postponed. Thesis is divided in two parts. In theoretical part I deal with a definition of school maturity and readiness, which are the basics to find child's troubles with postponement of school attendance. Then I delineate present situation in the Czech Republic - I define contemporary concept of preschools, I deal with compulsory school education and possibility of postponement of school attendance. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I concentrate on the approach of teachers and in sub-chapters I define activities and impact which they have. In empirical part I used a snowball sampling to approach some preschool teachers. Eleven teachers from Prague and Plzeň region have participated the research. After filling in questionnaires focused on individual children whose school attendance will be postponed, questions were adapted to the main research method - interview. Using thematical analysis I discovered various approaches of teachers to organizing forms of work, cooperation with parents, cooperation with specialists, documents in preschools, contemporary perspective of postponement of school attendance in the Czech Republic.
